- Product code 1089 is part of Oppo's standardised numeric catalog used by pharmacies across the GCC
- Built for comfortable daily wear during recovery and active use

Benefits:
- Breathable neoprene with 100% cotton lining — warm, supportive, comfortable
- Reinforced metal spoon stabiliser along the thumb — locks the CMC joint
- Adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners for personal fit
- Designed for rheumatic conditions, tenosynovitis, and CMC-joint problems
- Available in S / M / L / XL

- CMC (carpometacarpal) joint arthritis pain
- Rheumatoid arthritis of the thumb
- de Quervain's tenosynovitis
- Carpal tunnel syndrome with thumb involvement
- Thumb sprain and CMC injury

How to Use:
Position the thumb on the thumb-locking area. The metal splint should be on the lateral (outer) side of the thumb. Wrap the wrist strap and secure the hook-and-loop beside the thumb area. Wear during the day for pain relief; remove at night unless your therapist advises otherwise.

Precautions:
- For external use only — never wear over open wounds, infected skin or untreated cuts
- Stop use immediately if you experience numbness, tingling, skin colour change or unusual swelling
- Do not wear tighter than comfortable; circulation should not be restricted
- Hand-wash with mild soap in cold water; air-dry away from direct heat or sunlight
- Consult your doctor or physiotherapist if pain persists or worsens

Q&A:
Q: What's the difference between this and a wrist-only brace?
A: This brace immobilises the thumb at the CMC joint (the base of the thumb) using a metal stay. A wrist-only brace doesn't restrict thumb movement. Choose this style if your pain involves the thumb itself — typing, gripping, twisting jars.

Q: Can I wear it overnight?
A: Yes — many people with arthritis or de Quervain's wear it overnight to reduce morning stiffness and pain. The neoprene retains heat through the night, which can help with rheumatic pain.

Q: Will it help my texting thumb?
A: Yes — repetitive thumb strain (texting thumb, gamer's thumb) responds well to immobilisation during pain flares. Wear it for 1-2 hours after symptoms start, plus reduce the activity that's causing it.
