Lecoxen Cream 30Ml

Protective and re-epithelizing adjuvant cream from Ekuberg Pharma (Italy) — supports the natural healing of scars, wounds, and damaged or periwound skin.

Lecoxen is a topical cream formulated with proanthocyanidin A2 from Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut), Allium cepa (onion) extract, and wheat germ oil, combined with vitamin E and a dimethicone silicone barrier. The silicone film helps create an occlusive protective layer over the skin while the botanical extracts and vitamin E support re-epithelialization, reduce inflammation, and help prevent the formation of keloid (hypertrophic) scars.

Benefits:
- Helps the skin heal after minor cuts, abrasions, and surgical wounds (post-suture skin)
- Supports scar maturation and helps reduce the appearance of keloid/hypertrophic scars
- Protects periwound and damaged skin with a silicone barrier
- Moisturizes and softens scar tissue to keep it supple
- Soothes irritated skin around healing wounds
- Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin

Main Ingredients:
Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut) extract — Proanthocyanidin A2: Antioxidant action; supports the healing process and the appearance of scars
Allium cepa (onion) extract: Traditional botanical with antioxidant action, used in scar-care formulations
Triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil: Rich in natural vitamin E; nourishes and softens skin around healing wounds
Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate): Antioxidant protection for fragile healing skin
Dimethicone (silicone): Creates an occlusive protective barrier over the skin to support a proper microenvironment for healing

How to Use:
Clean and dry the skin around the scar or wound. Apply a thin layer of cream over the scar or periwound area 1-2 times daily, or as advised by your healthcare professional. Massage gently until absorbed. For mature scars, continue daily use for several weeks for visible improvement.

Precautions:
- For external use only
- Do not apply to open, bleeding, or actively infected wounds — use only on closed, healing skin
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs
- Stop and consult a doctor if redness, irritation, or rash develops
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: speak with your doctor before applying on broad areas
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight

Q&A:
Q: When can I start using Lecoxen on a wound?
A: Apply only once the wound has closed (no open or bleeding surfaces). On surgical wounds, your doctor usually advises starting after the stitches are removed and the skin is closed.

Q: How long should I use it on a scar?
A: Scar maturation takes time — 4-12 weeks of consistent daily use is typical for visible improvement. For hypertrophic or keloid scars, longer use may be advised by your doctor or dermatologist.

Q: Can I use it on children?
A: Yes, on closed healing skin, but check with your paediatrician first for children under 3. Always apply a thin layer and watch for any signs of irritation.
