Murine Bright & Moist Eye Drops, 15 ml

A sterile, isotonic lubricating eye drop for eyes that are dry, tired, red or irritated — from long hours at a screen, poor lighting or night driving, or from wind, dust, air conditioning and dry air. It pairs euphrasia, the plant extract known as eyebright, with hyaluronic acid, which holds moisture against the surface of the eye. Murine describes it as lubricating, moisturising, protecting, soothing and refreshing, and states it is suitable for use while contact lenses are being worn.

What is in it

• Euphrasia officinalis, or eyebright, the botanical the range is built around.
• Hyaluronic acid, to hold water at the surface of the eye and keep it comfortable for longer.
• An isotonic, biocompatible solution with disodium edetate and N-sodium hydroxymethyl glycinate.
• No benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine, parabens, phenoxyethanol or thimerosal, and no ingredients of animal origin.

How to use

• Adults and children: instil one or two drops into each eye, one or more times a day, as needed or as advised by an eye-care professional.
• A child should be given the drops by an adult.
• Contact lens wearers: apply two or three drops onto the lens before inserting it, or into the eye afterwards.
• For use in the eyes only. Do not let the tip of the bottle touch the eye or eyelid.
• Leave at least five minutes between this and any other eye product.

Good to know

Do not use it if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients, or if the bottle looks damaged — it is sterile only until opened. Stop using it and see an eye-care professional if the eye becomes irritated. Ask a doctor first for a child under three, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or alongside another eye condition. Store between 5 and 35°C in a dry place away from heat, do not freeze, do not swallow, keep out of the sight and reach of children, and do not use after the expiry date.
