Avène Very High Protection Fragrance-Free Fluid SPF 50+, 50 ml

A very high protection facial sunscreen with a fluid, fast-absorbing texture, made for normal to combination skin that is sensitive and burns easily. Avène builds it on its Sunsitive protection approach, a filter system developed by Pierre Fabre research that uses a small number of filters to give broad, photostable cover with good skin tolerance. Alongside UVB and UVA, the formula carries TriAsorB, a filter Avène patented that also absorbs part of the high-energy visible light usually called blue light. It is fragrance-free, which matters if perfume is the thing that normally makes a sunscreen sting or flush. In Kuwait's glare, and across long days under air conditioning, the fluid finish is the practical part: it sinks in quickly and leaves a dry, non-shiny film rather than a heavy mask, so it sits under make-up without pilling. It comes as a 50 ml tube, the formula is water-resistant and non-comedogenic, and Avène makes it in France.

How to use

Apply generously to clean, dry skin about 30 minutes before sun exposure, and do not be sparing: using less than the recommended amount reduces the protection you actually get. Reapply frequently, and always after sweating, swimming or drying with a towel. Sunscreen is one part of sun care rather than a reason to stay out longer, so avoid the midday sun and cover up as well. Keep away from the eye area. For external use only.
