Knee Brace

Futuro Knee Ultra Performance Stabilizer XL 48192

Premium knit knee stabiliser from 3M Futuro — knit-fabric construction with built-in stays for moderate support and cushioning around the kneecap.

Futuro's Ultra Performance Stabilizer is a knit-fabric brace with a contoured patellar opening and internal support stays that provide moderate stabilising compression — without the bulk of a hinged brace. Used for everyday knee comfort, mild instability, and active recovery.

Benefits:
- Mild knee instability or weakness
- Recovery from minor sprains and strains after the acute phase
- Knee pain during walking, hiking, or daily activity
- Mild osteoarthritis pain and stiffness
- General athletic support during sports and gym sessions

How to Use:
Slide the brace up the leg so the patellar opening sits centred over the kneecap and the internal stays run along the sides. The knit fabric provides snug, even compression. Wear during activity; remove at rest unless prescribed for continuous wear.

Precautions:
- Don't use as a substitute for medical evaluation if your knee feels truly unstable or "gives way" — that needs a doctor's diagnosis
- Loosen or remove if circulation becomes restricted (cold/numb foot, tingling)
- Replace if the fabric stretches out or the stays loosen
- XL fits 48-58 cm thigh circumference; check the size guide before purchase
- Hand-wash, air-dry — don't put through a tumble dryer

Q&A:
Q: Knit stabiliser vs hinged knee brace — when do I need each?
A: This knit stabiliser = compression + moderate support for everyday discomfort, mild instability, and active recovery. A hinged brace (different product) is needed for significant instability, ACL/MCL recovery, or post-surgery support. If your knee twists or "gives way" during activity, see a doctor about a hinged option.

Q: Can I wear it during running?
A: For short to moderate runs, yes. For long-distance running, choose based on comfort — some athletes find a thinner sleeve enough. Listen to your knee.

Q: How long should I wear it daily?
A: During active periods (walking, sport, prolonged standing). Remove at rest so the leg muscles continue to work the joint. If you wear it 24/7 the muscles can deload — wear during activity, off at home.

Tynor Auxiliary Crutch (Pair) L 21M

A lightweight aluminium-alloy underarm crutch pair built for safe weight transfer.

- Tynor is one of India's largest orthopedic and rehabilitation brands, founded in 1993
- Each product carries a Tynor letter-number code (this one is L 21) — a complete catalog system used by hospitals and physiotherapists
- Made for daily wear comfort and clinical durability

Benefits:
- High-strength aluminium alloy frame — strong, durable, light to lift
- Anatomically contoured underarm pads in resilient elastomer for long comfortable use
- Double-moulded ergonomic hand grip with a broad top to reduce palm fatigue
- Height adjustable — fits Medium for users approximately 150-170 cm tall
- Sold as a pair (left + right)

- Lower-limb fracture or sprain that requires non-weight-bearing on the injured side
- Post-operative rehabilitation after hip, knee or ankle surgery
- Temporary mobility aid for muscle/nerve injuries
- Permanent mobility aid for users with paralysis or chronic weakness

How to Use:
Adjust the height so the pad sits 2-3 finger widths below the armpit (NOT pressed into the armpit — this can damage nerves). Adjust the hand grip so your elbow is bent 15-30°. Keep weight on your hands, not on the underarm pad.

Precautions:
- For external use only — never wear over open wounds, infected skin or untreated cuts
- Stop use immediately if you experience numbness, tingling, skin colour change or unusual swelling
- Do not wear tighter than comfortable; circulation should not be restricted
- Hand-wash with mild soap in cold water; air-dry away from direct heat or sunlight
- Consult your doctor or physiotherapist if pain persists or worsens

Q&A:
Q: How do I size the crutches correctly?
A: Stand straight with the crutch tip on the ground, 5 cm to the side of your foot. The underarm pad should sit 2-3 finger widths below the armpit (not pressed into it). The hand grip should be at the level of your wrist when your arm hangs naturally — your elbow will be bent 15-30° when gripping it.

Q: Can I put my full weight on the underarm pads?
A: No — and this is important. Pressing into the underarm pads can compress nerves and damage the brachial plexus. Take the weight on the hand grips instead. The underarm pads are just for stability against the body.

Q: How long can I use them safely?
A: As long as your doctor or physiotherapist recommends. Long-term users should regularly check the rubber tips for wear and the screws for tightness — these are common safety issues.
