Care Well Silver Nail Clipper Medium 1 Pc CW 616

A medium-size nail clipper in silver finish — clean clip with no jagged tear. Code CW 616.

- Carbon-steel cutting edges, plated body
- Silver finish — durable, easy to keep hygienic
- Code CW 616, part of Care Well's nail-care line (Small / Medium / Large)

Benefits:
- Medium size — standard fingernail and most thumb sizes
- Sharp curved blade for a clean, jagged-free clip
- Built-in nail file on the swing-out lever — files rough edges immediately after clipping
- Lever lock keeps the clipper closed during storage

- Routine fingernail and toenail trimming
- Travel kits and bathroom drawers
- Everyday adult fingernail care

How to Use:
Clean your nails first (wet skin softens nails for easier clipping; you can also clip immediately after a shower). Position the clipper across the nail at the desired length and squeeze the lever. Make small cuts following the natural shape of the nail (don't cut deep into the corners — risks ingrown nails). File the edges with the included file.

Precautions:
- Don't share with others — fungal infections can transfer between users
- Disinfect with alcohol after each use, especially if used on nails with any infection or fungus
- Don't cut nails too short or into the corners (causes ingrown toenails)
- Keep out of reach of young children (sharp edges; choking hazard from small parts)
- For diabetic foot care, see a podiatrist rather than self-clipping toenails — small cuts can become serious infections

Q&A:
Q: Why three sizes — which one do I need?
A: Small for fingertips and children's nails. Medium for everyday adult fingernails. Large for toenails (which are thicker) and larger fingernails. Many households keep both Medium and Large.

Q: How sharp should the blade be?
A: Sharp enough to slice the nail cleanly with light pressure. If you need to squeeze hard or get a jagged tear, the blade is dull and the clipper should be replaced. A new clipper costs little — old, dull clippers cause ingrown nails.

Q: Can I sterilise it in boiling water?
A: Yes for occasional disinfection — boil for 5 minutes. For daily wipe-down, alcohol (70%+) is faster. Avoid the dishwasher; the heat can damage the spring.
