It has no glucose syrup and no artificial sweeteners, colours or preservatives, in natural strawberry, lemon, apple and orange.
- Mr. Tumee Melatonin Gumee, 60 Tumees, natural strawberry — a chewable supplement at 1 mg of melatonin per gummy, the hormone that signals the body that it is time to sleep. Sixty pieces to the container, chewed rather than swallowed whole.
How to use it:
- Morning, the multivitamin — taken daily, two gels a day for ages 4 to 10 and four gels a day from age 11 and for adults. The stated daily dose must not be exceeded.
- Shortly before bed, the melatonin — one gummy, chewed a little before bedtime, per the serving size printed on the pack.
- Keep the two apart in the day — both are taken by mouth and both are sweet, but they are not interchangeable and they do not share a slot. One belongs to the start of the day and the other to the end of it.
Good to know:
Neither pack is a sedative and neither is a meal. The multivitamin tops up what the day's food did not cover, it does not stand in for that food, and the melatonin supports the body's own signal to sleep rather than overriding it. The two packs carry different age floors, which is the single most important thing to read before the box is opened at home: the melatonin is from 2 years, the multivitamin is not for children under 4 years, and so the set as a whole is from 4 years.
