How to Use
Clean and dry the wound and the surrounding skin. Open the sterile sachet, peel back the backing, and position the film over the wound with about 2 cm of skin contact on each side. Smooth it down from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles. Do not stretch the film as you apply it, as this lifts the edges and breaks the seal. Hydrofilm can stay in place for up to 5 days; a new dressing may be applied immediately afterwards, and total wear time should not exceed 30 days.

It is waterproof, breathable, transparent and sterile, and it is used in hospitals both on surgical wounds and as a cannula cover where protection and visibility are both needed.
